Reasons people rent from us

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Booking made plain

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Checking your details

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Over to you

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
