Auto Rental in Ruby, WI

Renting in Ruby

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Ruby. The key point: Third-party liability coverage is included in every rate; for damage to the car you choose one of three options before pickup. Nothing is charged until we confirm the car and the price and you approve.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Ruby is outside our area. Measured in a straight line, Ruby is about 943 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Ruby we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Need something in Ruby? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Worth knowing

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The request is free, so you can ask without committing. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

Who it is for

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

The steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

One more step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
