How renting works in Avery

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Avery. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates are per car, so you can choose by budget.

What CarmaCars covers

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Avery. At roughly 705 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Avery is outside our delivery area.

Visiting Toronto from Avery? We can have a car ready when you arrive. Because Avery is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you are unsure whether we can help with Avery, ask; we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. We answer questions before you book, not only after. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Typical renters

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Before pickup

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
