Our area and Bancroft

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Bancroft is outside the area we serve. About 1,986 km in a straight line separate Bancroft from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Bancroft, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Because Bancroft is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. For anything about Bancroft, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Who this suits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

The details that matter

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. One small team handles your request from start to finish. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Who qualifies

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Requesting a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
