CarmaCars and Barton

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Barton is outside the area we serve. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Barton is about 1,842 km out.

Heading to Barton by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. For anything about Barton, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Why this way of renting

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You can rent again later with the same account and details. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Know the area

Palo Alto, McCall and Smoke Bend are the neighbouring places on our list.

The closest airport is Harry P Williams Memorial Airport, about 50 km away.

Typical renters

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

What you need to rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

One more step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
