What is different here

Common reasons to rent

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your booking, in three steps

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
