Typical renters

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Booking in plain terms

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What we ask of drivers

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
