Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

From request to keys

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

One more step

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
