Common reasons to rent

What you get

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

The booking steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
