Why CarmaCars

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

How to book

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Checking your details

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

One more step

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
