When it makes sense

What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Licence, age and card

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Booking with CarmaCars

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

When you know your dates

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
