Car Rental for Borax

Car Rental in Borax: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

About distance

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Borax is outside the area we serve. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Borax is roughly 2,835 km away.

For the days before or after a flight to Borax, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Our cars can leave Ontario only with written consent from us, arranged before the trip. Ask us about Borax in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Why people choose us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. We answer questions before you book, not only after. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Typical renters

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The nearest airport is Thompson Falls Airport (THM), about 33 km away.

Requesting a car

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before pickup

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
