Before you plan around us

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Bounds. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Bounds is about 1,405 km away.

Most trips to Bounds start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Because Bounds is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Why a rental from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

When it makes sense

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

How it works

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Checking your details

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

When you know your dates

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
