Why this way of renting

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Who it is for

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

What to expect when you book

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Licence, age and card

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
