A Toronto company

CarmaCars is not in Brookside. Our one location is in Toronto. Brookside is about 705 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Our cars can leave Ontario only with written consent from us, arranged before the trip. Tell us what you need in Brookside, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

Who rents from us

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

From request to keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Before you rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Ready when you are
