How renting works in Browns Spring

Car Rental in Browns Spring: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. There is no instant booking: every request is read by a person.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Browns Spring is outside the area we serve. Browns Spring lies about 1,420 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Most trips to Browns Spring start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Tell us what you are planning in Browns Spring, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

What you get

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget.

Your booking, in three steps

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
