Why this way of renting

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

How a booking comes together

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What you need to rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
