Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Burnham. We do not deliver as far as Burnham, about 3,545 km from our location in Toronto.

For Burnham itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Because Burnham is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Tell us what you are planning in Burnham, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Who this suits

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

What we need from you

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Booking made plain

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
