Renting a car around Caithness

If you need a rental car in Caithness, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. For this kind of rental: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person confirms every booking before anything is charged.

What we cover

We do not have a location in Caithness; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Caithness is about 996 km away.

Heading to Caithness by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. If you are unsure whether we can help with Caithness, ask; we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why people choose us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Good fits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

From your dates to the handover

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Ready when you are

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
