CarmaCars and Cameron

Our only location is in Toronto; Cameron is outside the area we serve. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 1,141 km, Cameron is outside that.

Most trips to Cameron start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Tell us what you need in Cameron, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Common reasons to rent

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why this way of renting

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Request, offer, keys

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before you rent

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

When you know your dates
