Honest about Bigpatch

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Bigpatch. By straight line Bigpatch is about 916 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For Bigpatch itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Bigpatch if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Who rents this way

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

What to expect

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
