Why this way of renting

One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Who this suits

Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Before pickup

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
