Good fits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Why CarmaCars

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

Before pickup

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
