Why this way of renting

Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Typical renters

Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

How to book

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
