The useful parts

One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

Common reasons to rent

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

What to expect when you book

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Talk to a person

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
