A Toronto company

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Gresham. Gresham is about 1,899 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Heading to Gresham by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. If you still want to ask about Gresham, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Worth knowing

Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Common reasons to rent

Students, contract workers and people between leases rent month to month. Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Your booking, in three steps

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Ready when you are

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
