What we can do for Jacket

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Jacket is outside the area we serve. Measured in a straight line, Jacket is about 1,494 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Most trips to Jacket start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Send a request about Jacket, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Who this suits

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

What you get

Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Driver requirements

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

How booking works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
