Common reasons to rent

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

The useful parts

There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

What to have ready

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Requesting a car

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
