When it makes sense

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Newcomers waiting for their own car rent for a month or two first.

Why CarmaCars

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. You can rent again later with the same account and details. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

What to have ready

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How renting with us works

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Your move
