Worth knowing

Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. Renting month to month means no long commitment and no buyout at the end. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Rules for renters

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

From your dates to the handover

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

One more step

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
