Your rental in Ruby

CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Ruby, our help starts there. In short: No subscription contract: rent month to month instead. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and you can stop at the end of any booking. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

Where we are

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Ruby we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Who rents from us

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Students, contract workers and people between leases rent month to month.

Why CarmaCars

There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking, or renew it. Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

The booking steps

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
