Why people choose us

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. Month to month, you keep the flexibility of a rental and skip the commitment of a lease. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Who it is for

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Your booking, in three steps

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Driver basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
