Driver basics

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking, step by step

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
