Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Getting the car booked

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we need from you

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Send a request

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
