About renting in Cascade Estates

This page is for Cascade Estates, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

When it makes sense

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What to expect

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Who qualifies

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Booking in plain terms

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
