What CarmaCars covers

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Case Corner. We cover about 80 km around Toronto; at about 576 km, Case Corner is outside that.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. If you need a car in Case Corner itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

Who rents this way

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What to have ready

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

The booking steps

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
