Car Rental in Cates, NC

Car Rental in Cates, explained

Car Rental in Cates: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

A Toronto company

There is no CarmaCars location in Cates; everything we do starts in Toronto. About 819 km in a straight line separate Cates from central Toronto; our delivery stops at about 80 km.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Cates if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

The details that matter

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Good fits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Booking made plain

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we need from you

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
