Toronto based

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Cedar View. With Cedar View about 740 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you are travelling from Toronto, rent with us before you leave and drive the car there. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Who this suits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Reasons people rent from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

From your dates to the handover

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
