Searching for car rental in Cherokee? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Our reach

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Cherokee. Measured in a straight line, Cherokee is about 3,501 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Most trips to Cherokee start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Cherokee if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Who rents from us

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Why CarmaCars

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time.

Booking, step by step

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Renting: the basics

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

When you know your dates
