Honest about Chisolms

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Chisolms. By straight line Chisolms is about 1,249 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Most trips to Chisolms start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Our cars can leave Ontario only with written consent from us, arranged before the trip. Tell us what you are planning in Chisolms, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Why this works

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

How renting with us works

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Licence, age and card

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
