Car Rental in Chorro, CA

Renting a car around Chorro

Car Rental in Chorro: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

Our reach

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Chorro. Chorro lies about 3,632 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Chorro, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Because Chorro is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Chorro if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Who rents from us

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Getting around Chorro

Flying? San Luis Obispo County Airport is the nearest airport, about 11 km from Chorro.

Why this way of renting

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Booking made plain

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
