Car Rental in Clapps Corner, explained

CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Clapps Corner, our help starts there. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Our matching cars start at $50 a day before tax.

What CarmaCars covers

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Clapps Corner is outside the area we serve. We do not deliver as far as Clapps Corner, about 709 km from our location in Toronto.

If your trip starts in the Toronto area, we can have a car ready for the drive. Because Clapps Corner is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

Why this way of renting

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Typical renters

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

What to expect when you book

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What to bring

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
