Car Rental in Clearlake, explained

Planning a trip between Toronto and Clearlake? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Every car on the site shows its own rates, deposit and kilometres included.

Where we work

Our only location is in Toronto; Clearlake is outside the area we serve. About 3,616 km from our location in Toronto, Clearlake is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Clearlake, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. Need something in Clearlake? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

What makes this simple

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

When it makes sense

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

How it works

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
