What to expect

When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly, and we deliver the car to you. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental when your adjuster approves it. Otherwise the car's own rate applies. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Who it is for

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Licence, age and card

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How booking works

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
