Good fits

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

The steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What to have ready

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Still deciding?

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
