Car Rental in Cometa, PR

About renting in Cometa

This page is for Cometa, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

Where we are

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Cometa. We rent from Toronto. We do not deliver as far as Cometa, about 3,108 km from central Toronto.

Heading to Cometa by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. For anything about Cometa, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

The closest airport is Humacao Airport, about 3 km away.

Common reasons to rent

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

The useful parts

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

How a booking comes together

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
