Renting with CarmaCars in Como

This page is for Como, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. For this kind of rental: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The offer shows the full price before you pay anything.

Before you plan

Plainly: we do not have a location in Como. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. The straight-line distance from our location in Toronto to Como is about 1,142 km, and we deliver within about 250 km.

Back from Como and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. Because Como is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Tell us what you are planning in Como, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Reasons people rent from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How a booking comes together

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
