Where we work

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Comstock. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Comstock is about 3,485 km out.

For the days before or after a flight to Comstock, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Ask us about Comstock in a request; a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

What you get

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

Who this suits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What you need to rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Request, offer, keys

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Next step

Pick the car that fits the trip and send a request.
