Ideas for the car

Collingwood makes a good outing: about 150 km by road, for the Georgian Bay shore and the ski hills. Sandbanks Provincial Park is about 230 km from Toronto, for dunes and beaches in Prince Edward County. Before a long drive, check the daily kilometres on the car's page. Crossing into the United States needs our written consent first.

How you get the car

We drive cars to Conover, which is about 90 km from our location in Toronto. The offer shows delivery and collection fees before you approve anything.

Collecting it from us in Toronto is free. We note the car's condition with you at the handover, so the return is simple. Arriving by plane? Ask for a handover at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

Common reasons to rent

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Before you rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

How a booking comes together

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Still deciding?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
