The useful parts

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Rules for renters

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
